Foam Clay & Acrylic Parties

We love a good children's party at Doodle Alley! A great alternative to ceramic painting is acrylic painting and foam clay parties. The key with this style of party is that your guests take their pieces home on the day!

AGE RESTRICTION: We recommend our parties are for children 6 years and above. Although younger children are more than welcome at Doodle Alley we find they are better with full supervision. 

NUMBERS: We can hold large numbers for parties, up to 20 on each floor or smaller groups of any size. We like to get everyone on the same tables however this may not be possible with large numbers.

We try to ensure you have a floor to yourself if you have 15 painters or more, however smaller numbers may mean you have other painters (completely seperate) on the same floor.

ACCESSABILITY: At Doodle Alley our childrens parties tend to be downstairs (with toilet facilities also downstairs). When booking please be sure to confirm all your guests are fully able up and down stairs in case we need to arrange for the party to be upstairs due to multiple events.

PARENTS: We always require the party host parent(s) to stay for supervision throughout the duration of the party. We encourage other parents to go for a wander and pop back at the end of the party.

PRICE: Our party packages are designed to give each of your guests a good sized piece to enjoy at a budget to suit you.

PARTY PACKAGES:

  1. GOLD - £19.95 per head (includes anything from the Silver or Bronze packages or a large figurine or plaque and much much more).
  2. SILVER - £12.95 per head (includes anything from the Bronze package or a figurine, letter or trinket box).
  3. BRONZE - £9.95 per head (includes a tile)

ACRYLIC PAINTING - Our acrylic paint if high quality, quick drying paint - not like the normal stuff! It only requires one layer and will dry before your guests take it home. We do request that you mention on the invitation that children should not wear their best clothes as this may not wash out quite as well as ceramic paint.

FOAM CLAY - This is completely mess free and air drying.

HOW IT WORKS: You and your group will be given a set time to arrive for your party. We will meet and greet you and show you to your table! Once pottery is selected (we leave your chosen package out for them to pick from) we give you a brief welcome and fun chat about how it all works.

Once you are all set up, we like to leave you in peace but are always on hand for encouragement and any questions!

LENGTH: Your party will be allocated an 1hr 30 slot at a time to suit you.

FOOD & DRINK: We serve hot and cold drinks at Doodle Alley however you are more than welcome to bring along your own for the party goers.

We currently don't serve food and welcome you to bring along lunch bags or a buffet or just a cake. We have a list of useful suppliers in our parties section which you can find in the menu. 

We ask that food be introduced toward the back end of the party as greasy fingers don't work well with ceramics!

COLLECTION: Your masterpieces will be ready inside two weeks and we will contact the party organiser to let you know when you can head back to collect. Each piece will be named following the party to ensure your masterpieces aren't mixed up!

BOOKING & DEPOSIT: Please contact us via email on doodleally@mail.com or on 01948258080 to make a booking. We require a deposit of £5 per head to secure your booking which can be payable by BaCs, cash or card when popping in.
